TAMARA COMBS joined Britton Johnson, PLLC in 2016, focusing her practice on family law and domestic relations, including divorce, spousal maintenance, paternity, custody, timesharing, and child support.
Tamara was included on the Kentucky and Ohio Super Lawyers ‘Rising Stars’ list and on the Best Lawyers ‘Ones to Watch’ list. Tamara co-chairs the Family Law Biennial Institute of the University of Kentucky, has co-chaired the Family Law Section of the Fayette County Bar Association, and chaired the Family Law and Domestic Relations Section of the Kentucky Bar Association.
Background & Education
Tamara graduated with distinction from the University of Kansas School of Law and worked in commercial and civil litigation in Kansas City, Missouri before moving to Lexington, Kentucky. While in law school, Tamara served as a Judicial Intern for Justice Mary C. Noble of the Kentucky Supreme Court. Tamara received her bachelor’s degree from Armstrong Atlantic State University and her master’s degree from Clemson University.
